We will be posting these updates for Moon cycles and other important planetary aspects as they are about to occur so you will have time to work on your appropriate intentions or to check other aspects with your natal charts to see how the prominent planetary aspects will impact your chart and life. We will also be including our Reiki training schedule at the end of this update for those of you who are inclined to participate.

The most important aspect today is the New Moon Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees Gemini, which is exact tonight (05/30/2003) at 9:20 p.m. PDT. Note where 9 degrees Gemini falls in your chart; the house and any planets closely aspect to it are the areas you want to place your focus. Eclipses provide special opportunities to end long-term unproductive cycles and to initiate new directions. With the Sun and Moon in Gemini, the first Air sign, the invitation here is to become more conscious of how we think, communicate, and use information. Gemini is also concerned with developing flexibility and open-mindedness, with a shadow side of overextending ourselves and mistaking the cyber world for reality. Mindfulness and self-control will take us to a new level; thoughtlessness and rashness will take us down fast.

Another important element to eclipse energy is the impact on us physically and mentally. It is not uncommon to feel low energy, confused and somewhat disoriented. It may be a struggle to stay on course. Sometimes we get sick. Earth's energy field is getting zapped and so is ours. This is as it should be: We are making space for new opportunities to enter our lives and for the old unproductive things to leave.

The Sun and Moon are also square Uranus at 3 degrees Pisces. This aspect urges us to think far outside the box and to consider all points of view. Uranus urges rebellion and progress pushing us to break free of the old and envision a greater new ideal. Jupiter and Neptune are also involved with this New Moon in a very positive way pushing us to expand our dreams. If we can imagine it, we can create it. Reflect upon what you have accomplished so far in your life.and what seeds you are ready to sow for your future.

Have your own personal New Moon Ceremony. Start by making a list of a few things you desire to manifest in your life. The wording formula can be similar to," I now manifest -------- in my life, or, I am now ----------" Remember the universe is very specific in what it returns to you from your thoughts and envisionings. So, be specific and thoughtful about what you desire. Remember there is a three day window in which to cast your intentions to the universe for manifestation, the day before the New Moon, the day of the New Moon, through the day after.

For those of you who have prominent Pisces in your chart you will want to be aware of the Uranus transit through Pisces which will last approximate 7 years. It will be helpful for you to understand the nature of the energies of Uranus to have an awareness of it's direct impact in your life. The aspect of Uranus in Pisces will be further energized by the passage of Mars through Pisces in mid June - mid December. It will be interesting to see what happens on a global scale as these energies merge. Remember, these aspects not only affect your chart personally, but the world in general. I plan to include an in-depth review of Uranus in Pisces either on our web site or in a mailing very soon.
