NEW MOON SLUMBER PARTY – Several have expressed an interest in coming to Vista and experiencing our beautiful yard, ruffing it from a tent, and enjoying the New Moon at the fire pit, not to mention the GREAT FOOD! It is also Misty’s birthday weekend, however, she does not want any presents, only to provide a good time for all. Saturday afternoon the 27th thru Sunday afternoon the 28th. We will have the New Moon Ceremony on Saturday nite. The charge is $40.00 each which includes dinner, breakfast, an Astrology or Tarot reading, and the Moon ceremony!

We taught accelerated Reiki 1 and 2 training in Yuma, Arizona last month. It needed to be accelerated as the temperatures were upwards of 125 degrees. Pam and Kathy were super students and learned quickly. After we left for home, Kathy had a problem with the smoke alarms throughout her house. She reported to us that she thought she'd try using her Reiki 2 as nothing else had worked and the noise was driving her crazy. It really blew her mind when it actually worked, instantly. Reiki is pretty cool stuff!! More info on Reiki appears at the end of this letter.

Mark and I decided to create a new web site for our Metaphysical work: www.TwixtEarthandSky.com. We have currently uploaded a great deal of information about Reiki, the planets and the 12 Astrological signs. The Tarot section is not up yet. So if you want more info on the nature of your sign and the planet that rules it, log on. We have much more to add and it will be a work in progress for a long time. I think we all can agree that August was a wild ride. Don't let go of the rails yet because the transformative energies of September will keep us all alert as the intensity of global transformation increases.

Mercury retrograde (its apparent backward motion ) is gumming up our computers, travel and overall communication. Be careful about opening any attachments with e-mails. We haven't seen the last of the viruses. Murcery will go direct on the 12th.

The FULL MOON is on Wednesday September 10th @ 9:37 am PDT @ 17 degrees Pisces . This holds particular significance for those with any MUTABLE planets at 17and 18 degrees (Pisces, Virgo, Sagitarious, Gemimi). Also check which houses your MUTABLE planets live in, this can give you clues as to the issues you need to work on at this time. To gain the maximum benefit from this information you will want to gain a familiarity with your Natal chart. None of the FULL MOONS this year have been easy, and this one looks to continue to push the evelutionary envelope. The good and bad news is that Pluto almost exactly squares this FULL MOON -- good news for change, bad news for the old order of things. The FULL MOON brings light into the dark and increases our awareness of what has been dormant, denied or ignored. The Moon is receptive and takes on the energies of the other planets that aspect it, therefore this FULL MOON is more about the energies of Pluto than the Moon. The unconscious is Pluto's home and flushing out the shadow is his specialty. So, this PISCES FULL MOON, more than most, forces us to face what seems dark -- our fears, our devils, the unknown -- and to get to the truth. Pluto's bottom line is: Just let go.

Letting go is easier to do when we remember that something else will come. Pluto teaches us that every ending is also a beginning (envision the newborn Phoenix rising from its own ashes). There is no real death, only transformation. This FULL MOON challenges us to remember that, even when everything seems to be falling apart, something else is coming together.

The Sun, Mercury and Jupiter are in Virgo. It would now be wise to use Virgo left brained, analytical thinking , with discernment, to determine what is coming in for you. Jupiter reminds us that wisdom and prosperity come from paying attention to the details.

URANUS

Uranus, the cosmic wildcard, continues to be closely tracked by Mars, the God of War. This is an intriquing time to watch world events. Uranus is an advocate for change by whatever means it takes, for the purpose of creating freedom and liberation. With Uranus, a square from Jupiter and war energy from Mars, it may look like chaos run rampant especially if we are caught up in fear and have an investment in how we think things should be. Whenever possible, remember there really is an underlying divine plan unfolding. A few days after this FULL MOON, Uranus makes one last pass back into Aquarious, reminding us that these intense energies will likely play out on the world stage.

MARS

The magnetic field of Mars is still impacting the Earth in a way that has not happened in 10's of thousands of years. Mars will continue to impact those with WATER in their Natal chart and also those with MUTABLE signs. I get many calls a day from those who think they are going crazy or loosing their mind. This is all due to the impact of Mars, Saturn and Uranus. My counsel is to think before you speak out of anger, and give those around you ample wiggle room or patience. Remember, it is affecting almost everyone with anger, frustratiuon, impatience, sleep problems and general frustration. This too shall pass, but, it will be the first of the year before we see a noticeable difference. BE PATIENT!! This is a bumpy ride.

To have your own personal Full Moon Ceremony, make a list of a few non productive patterns of behavior or inner feelings and emotions that no longer serve your highest good, such as, envy, jealously, laziness, arrogance, fear, or just plain old negative thinking (what Mark calls stinkin’ thinkin’) !! Take a detached look at yourself and list some things you want to eliminate from your life You may want to eliminate a situation of lack or worry about finances or maybe there is a relationship that drags you down. All of these things are appropriate to release at the Full Moon. Possible ways to word your intentions could be, “I now release _____ from my life, or I now let go of_______, to be replaced with______.” Release all with love and gentle kindness. Remember the Universe is very specific in what it returns to you from your thoughts and envisioning. So be specific and thoughtful about what you desire. And always end with a phrase similar to "this or better." to leave the way open for something even more suited to your situation. There is a three day window in which to cast your intentions to the Universe and take advantage of the Full Moon energies, the day before the Full Moon, the day of the Full Moon, and the day after.

NEW PLANET ALERT

Some 13 billion years ago in a distant cluster of stars, a planet formed. Remarkably, it's still there, according to the Hubble Space Telescope. Orbiting a pair of burned-out stars in the crowded globular cluster "M4", the planet is too small to see from Earth. However, backyard sky watchers can see the cluster where it lives. This planet is 2.5 times the mass of Jupiter.

REIKI 1 TRAINING – Sunday August 17th at our home in Vista, CA. We welcome those who may want to drive here from LA. The class will start at 1:00 thru 6:00 pm. There is plenty of time to drive down in the morning and Sunday is a low traffic day. You may want to car pool. Please RSVP ASAP there is limited availability.
