FULL MOON IN VIRGO (5 DEGREES)

Full Moons always light up your intentions from the last New Moon. With Uranus, the ruling planet of Aquarius, closely aligned with the Sun in Pisces, we continue to feel the pressure to break free from unproductive thinking and programming. Uranus is the wild card, Loki, the God of Chaos, the energies of electricity and lightning. Things appear suddenly with Uranus around, but when we take a closer look, we see that the storm has been brewing for a while.

Uranus in Pisces opens our third eye, enhancing our ability to perceive energy and other levels of consciousness. As Uranus makes his passage through Pisces (from March 2003 to March 2011), the line between the realms of God and Humanity blur. Science fiction turns out to be fact, and the unseen becomes visible as new technologies and pathways of perception become available.

The high voltage of this Full Moon requires us to pay special attention to our diet and find ways to ground the rare signals that Uranus is transmitting this week. Our bodies are being rewired so they can hold higher vibrations and access larger dimensions of reality. During periods of accelerated growth, extra nutrients are necessary for building new structures. This makes eating whole foods rather than processed products more important than ever. If we tune into our bodies and feel the effects of what we are ingesting, we can discern what's healthy and what's harmful. Virgo figures things out; Pisces just knows. That knowing - often discounted in our linear, logically oriented culture - comes in most clearly when we are in a quiet, receptive state.

Mercury is 7° away from Uranus, increasing imagination and intuition. Uranus, the higher octave of Mercury, brings flashes of insight, and at times downloads of information that often revolutionize our way of thinking. Huge breakthroughs in consciousness can occur around this Full Moon, if we ask for them and make time for them to come through. Use whatever helps you to tune into your intuition - music, meditation, journaling, a walk on the beach or in the woods.

All in all, this Full Moon shows the importance of integrating the various levels of our being - analysis and intuition, masculine and feminine, physical and spiritual. Mercury Retrograde begins on the 19th of March through the 12th of April. Use this time to re-evaluate, re-do, re-think various aspects of your life. Do not initiate new projects, sign contracts, see new doctors, begin new relationships, from romantic to business. This is a time to lay low and and do anything that begins with RE. If you plan to travel, expect and prepare for delays.

Full Moon Ceremony Have your own private ceremony today. Jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things in your life that no longer serve you. Possible phrasing: I now release____ from my life. I now release my destructive eating patterns. I now let go of fear. Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.
