This Full Moon heightens our awareness of the power of the mind and the power of our beliefs. What do we think, and what do we know? What's right? What's true? Gemini is like the 10:00 news; Sagittarius, the editorial. The Twins gather information; the Archer aims for the truth. The ruler of Gemini, Mercury, was an amoral god in the Greek pantheon; many myths depict him as a trickster and a thief. Words can deceive or confound. Facts can be spun. This Full Moon offers us the opportunity to become more conscious of our internal filters and assumptions.

Full Moons also illuminate the shadow side of each sign. Gemini's shadow is rationalization, the denial of physical and emotional realities. The dark side of Gemini is the Peter Pan who never wants to grow up. Sagittarius' shadow is blind faith; it's dark side is hubris and fanaticism. Pluto, the planet most concerned with the shadow, conjuncts the Moon, opposes the Sun, and semisquares Jupiter in Scorpio, intensifying the message to question the notions we hold about ourselves and about "the way things are." Mercury at 13° Cancer forms a grand trine with Uranus at 15° Pisces and Jupiter at 10° Scorpio, helping us to see how our thoughts create our reality. The order of the planets out from the Sun illustrates the process of manifestation: Thought (Mercury) is followed by desire (Venus), which stimulates action (Mars). We live in a universe of vibratory fields where like attracts like, so whatever we send out through our emotional desire, we attract. What we are thinking, we are sending out to the universe. What we fear, we attract as well, as fear is one of the most powerful emotions. Learn to control your mind and emotions and change your thinking and you will change your life. Several other aspects are also helping us wake up to broader horizons. Neptune at 20° Aquarius trines the Sun and sextiles the Moon, making it easier for us to dissolve our misconceptions and misunderstandings. Jupiter in Scorpio squares Saturn in Leo, spurring the release of self-defeating beliefs and habits. Mars's conjunction with Saturn (exact on June 17) pushes us to focus on what's most important and let the rest go. Uranus stations retrograde at 15° Pisces on June 18, urging us to question the status quo and explore alternatives.

I will be including Opportunity Periods in the updates from now on. These are a wonderful tool to maximize our efforts. Opportunity Periods reflect favorable aspects of the Moon. The energies of the Moon impact us in a very direct way. Using the positive energies that the Moon showers upon the Earth, to our benefit, makes good sense. Opportunity Periods have proven to provide helpful energy to non routine tasks. If you feel like you are always going against the grain and things are stressful, try using these time periods for more easily accomplishing important tasks: purchases, repairs, client appointments, sales calls, important phone calls, finishing goals, starting new projects, tying up loose ends, starting new relationships ( except when Venus is Retrograde), job hunting, doctor visits, family meetings, etc.

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or furtile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealosy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fullfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fullfilment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.
