Greetings,

How wonderful our lives would be if we could express and feel love as God feels it for each of us. I experienced that indescribable and joyous realm of love for about 6 weeks in 1995 while taking classes in A Course in Miracles. I remember it clearly, but I was jolted out of the realm when one of my daughters was brutally stabbed. I have never been able to recapture the intensity of feeling from what I perceive to have been a fifth dimensional shift. The quote below is from Marianne Williamson, who has made an intense study of A Course in Miracles.

What the world needs now is a miracle,
and it is miracles to which we are all entitled.
For miracles occur naturally as expressions of love;
they are in fact the natural order of the world
when the mind is in its natural state.
Our task, quite simply, is to love
in a way that we have never loved before.

The miracle of loving like we have never loved before has greater possibility of manifesting when we love ourselves like we have never been loved before. Then we can truly love others in ways more miraculous than previously imagined and then the miracles we are entitled to experience flow easily through the channels of love we are expressing to ourselves and others.

This is guaranteed as this world operates by attracting to us experiences that reflect the thoughts, feelings and actions we express into the world. When we are willing to surrender our need to be right, our need to have things be a certain way and our need to control outcomes, then true miraculous situations and events can easily express. If indeed we are needing to be right and in control we will encounter challenging circumstances that reflect this need or belief. The way to shift this is through willingness to let go, to surrender and to love yourself and those involved while also taking responsibility for the necessary steps to be safe. Wise inspired action is greatly assisted when you are asking love to heal your heart and guide your way. This is greatly supported when you are practicing daily self-forgiveness and gratitude paving the way with genuine self-love that magnetizes and attracts miracles flowing into your life like never before.

Is Pluto a Planet?

Big news hit late in August demoting Pluto from the status of a planet. It is now officially defined as a dwarf planet. At the Aug. 25, 2006 International Astronomical Union (IAU) General Assembly in Prague, astronomers decided that the Solar System has eight planets and to be a planet, the assembly ruled, a planetary body must meet three criteria:

(1) It must have enough mass and gravity to gather itself into a ball.
(2) It must orbit the sun.
(3) It must reign supreme in its own orbit, having "cleared the neighborhood" of other competing bodies.

Pluto does not meet the third requirement and has been redefined as a dwarf planet. For more information visit http://spaceweather.com/

What does this mean? The Science of Astrology is empirical which works off a body of knowledge which is shared by thousands of astrologers worldwide amongst themselves. The affects of Pluto in a chart are an accepted fact in that community. Whether or not the scientific community classifies Pluto as a planet or not, astrologers can use its position as a sensitive point in a chart like any other as its powerful affects have been measured and observed for many years. It has a powerful energy associated with it no matter how it is categorized. It does open a door for observing how planetary bodies from anywhere in our known universe may affect the earth and the beings on it.

FULL MOON IN PISCES, Thursday, September 7th, at 11:42 am PDT (15 degrees)

Every six months, the Sun, Moon, and Earth align precisely enough to create an eclipse. This extra-powerful Full Moon signals that we have come to an important turning point, giving us an opportunity to complete a major life lesson and graduate to the next level. Eclipses occur in relationship to the lunar nodes, the points in space where the Moon crosses the ecliptic, the path of the Earth around the Sun. The North Node points toward the future, which challenges us to evolve into greater consciousness and connection. The South Node indicates the past, which includes the strengths we have developed as well as our most deeply entrenched patterns and suppositions.

During a lunar eclipse, the Full Moon slowly dims as it passes through the Earth's shadow. This temporary blockage of light arouses what has been in the dark. What are we afraid of? What do we want? What are we really doing, and why? The Sun in Virgo calls us to evaluate our tactics; the Moon in Pisces, to scrutinize our motives. The shadow side of Virgo hides behind busyness and false humility. The shadow of Pisces dallies in escapism and martyrdom. The 15th degree is a turning point, the halfway mark where the pull of the past is equal to the press of the future. Will we slip backward or move forward? In the book, The Invisible Garment, Connie Kaplan describes the 15th degree of each sign as representing the principle of "resistance: a friction that causes energy to experience itself, transform itself, and realign itself with greater purpose." That is the exact issue of this eclipse.

Several other factors add to the transformative power of this potent Full Moon. Uranus at 13° Pisces conjuncts the Moon and opposes the Sun, liberating us from limited views and conformity. Being flexible and willing to be surprised is always good advice when the Awakener is in the picture. If we've been exploring alternatives, now's the time to take a quantum leap. Along with Uranus's bolts from the blue, Pluto's recent station direct (September 4) also adds to the imperative for change. Pluto had been retrograde since March 29, the date of the last solar eclipse. The mythic Lord of the Underworld says, as he moves ahead: "Take at least one giant step forward. Now."

Venus, Mercury, Mars, and the South Node are all in Virgo, emphasizing the need to release whatever no longer serves us. Saturn's ongoing opposition to Neptune and square to Jupiter sets up a fixed t-square, a configuration that breaks up long-standing patterns. With all of the outer planets involved in this eclipse, this is a juncture where the irresistible force meets the immovable object, personally and collectively. Issues relating to houses and planets activated by an eclipse can often be felt the month before the actual eclipse, and they continue as an undercurrent for the next year, with turning points at 90, 180, 270, and 360 days. The first planet to transit over the eclipse point often triggers an important development. Venus reaches 15° Virgo on September 18; watch for important insights or resources to surface around that day.

This is a high-voltage Full Moon. Stay as grounded and centered as you can. Tune into your intuition, and remember: "Who you are is God's gift to you; what you become is your gift to God." (Sufi proverb)

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or furtile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealosy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fullfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fullfilment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.

I will be including Opportunity Periods in the updates from now on. These are a wonderful tool to maximize our efforts. Opportunity Periods reflect favorable aspects of the Moon. The energies of the Moon impact us in a very direct way. Using the positive energies that the Moon showers upon the Earth, to our benefit, makes good sense. Opportunity Periods have proven to provide helpful energy to non routine tasks. If you feel like you are always going against the grain and things are stressful, try using these time periods for more easily accomplishing important tasks: purchases, repairs, client appointments, sales calls, important phone calls, finishing goals, starting new projects, tying up loose ends, starting new relationships ( except when Venus is Retrograde), job hunting, doctor visits, family meetings, etc.

I personally use OPs and find them to be invaluable. I am happy to pass on this unique and useful information.
