Greetings,

I am receiving so many calls from folks having energy issues and just feeling plain tired and weird. Taurus in particular is feeling this as Saturn is Squaring our Sun sign which causes low vitality. This should be over in a couple of months. However, there are other planetary issues and I am including a link to the latest Energy Alert for you to check and see if any of this information serves to lessen your thoughts of feeling overwhelmed and somewhat insane at times. Do your best to stay centered and use your energy wisely as this strange energy seems to come in waves with a few days in between.

Mercury is well into its Retrograde phase. This is a 25 day period of disruption in the flow of information. And more accurately, it's difficulty spans for approximately 5 weeks. This is the duration of time that Mercury is either moving at an uncomfortably slow rate classified as its "STORM" phase, or actually retrograde. The storm is usually a week before and a week after the actual retrograde. This time frame is characterized by computer problems, delays in travel, and misinformation. The best use of this time is to re-do, re-work, re-learn, re-organize and re-think. Use it for all productive activities that begin with re. Don't sign contracts now unless you take extra time to read all the fine print. I have had many a client disregard the warnings and later find that everything falls apart. There really is something to this as bizarre as it seems. The actual retrograde will end on the 9th of July and the storm will be over on the 16th.

Shortly after Mercury goes direct, Venus begins it's Retrograde motion from the 27th of July through the 7th of September. This is not a good time to begin a romantic relationship. Odds are it will not last. So have fun and play the field with nothing serious until after the 7th of September.

Dr. Michael Beckwith, in his address at Seaside Church in Encinitas on the 1st of June, quotes Lewis Carroll from his book "Alice in Wonderland ". The Queen instructs Alice to "believe in 6 impossible things before breakfast." It is more than just writing down our seeming impossible desires, it is to truly believe them. Chew on this concept for awhile and then start your own infinite possibility list every morning before breakfast.

Remember, despite many of our huge disagreements with the current administration, we are still more fortunate than the majority of the people on the planet. So, have a wonderful and fun holiday.

FULL MOON IN CAPRICORN, June 30th at 06:50 am PDT (09 degrees)

Full Moons are excellent times to see how far we have come and to decide whether to continue on or change direction. The Sun in feeling centered Cancer asks: Are we happy? Are we growing? The Moon in structured Capricorn questions: Are we fulfilling our destiny? Are we manifesting our life purpose? This Full Moon makes it easier for us to recognize the difference between what we are doing, what we think we should be doing, and what we really want to be doing. It offers a strong spiritual drive for releasing the pressures of out-moded family and social patterns and remembering our soul intentions.

Cancer is the first water sign in the zodiac, symbolizing the development of the emotional body and the importance of feelings. It is also the most feminine sign, the archetype of the mother and child and the principle of nurture. Children are naturally in touch with their feelings; they know what they need and easily express themselves, unless they have been stifled or traumatized. In modern Western cultures, most people are taught to ignore their feelings and, as a consequence, have difficulty knowing "what they want to be when they grow up." If we are told that we are "too sensitive" and "boys don't cry," if we think feelings are a nuisance or a weakness, we lose the valuable information they offer. We then hunger for something we can't name and get trapped in overeating, overwork, or other addictions. Our inner child may be muffled, but our body remembers and stores unexpressed emotions, holding them until we are ready to experience them or until illness induces us to face them. This Full Moon illuminates our emotional baggage and urges us to unpack it.

In the Northern Hemisphere, Cancer marks the summer solstice, the longest day and the time of year when everything is at its most full. In contrast, Capricorn comes in the depth of winter, when resources are scarce and the penalties for irresponsibility are immediate and severe. In Cancer, we need to grow; in Capricorn, we need to grow up. Capricorn demands maturity, rewards effort, and teaches consequences; in return, it offers autonomy, integrity, and self-fulfillment. With the Moon in Capricorn it is time to evaluate our duties and commitments. Where do we need to take more responsibility? Where do we need to maintain our boundaries? Where do we need to respect our limits and the limits of others?

At this Full Moon, Mercury stimulates exchanges with others and communication with our higher self. Mercury represents the facility of the mind to move between the conscious, subconscious, as well as between past, present, and future. Its proximity to the Sun helps us see and understand things in a new light. Neptune's aspects support reconciliation and the dissolution of parental conditioning. Neptune, the esoteric ruler of Cancer helps us to feel a sense of kinship beyond blood relations and thus draw upon a much larger source of support. Venus, the archetype of love and beauty, closely opposes Neptune and conjoins Saturn, extending the opposition that Saturn and Neptune have been making since last summer. Venus in Leo says: Love yourself. Saturn in Leo says: Do what you love. Neptune says: You are Love.

This Full Moon invites us to recover our sense of wonder and trust in Spirit and helps us to put the past in perspective and embody more of our essence. "Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything. Between the two my life flows." (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

If you have a copy of your Natal chart, check which house 9 degrees Capricorn falls in your chart. For you, this is where the greatest personal impact will be during this Full Moon period.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fulfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fulfillment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controlling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or fertile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealousy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

Opportunity Periods are a wonderful tool to maximize our efforts. Opportunity Periods reflect favorable aspects of the Moon. The energies of the Moon impact us in a very direct way. Using the positive energies that the Moon showers upon the Earth, to our benefit, makes good sense. Opportunity Periods have proven to provide helpful energy to non routine tasks. If you feel like you are always going against the grain and things are stressful, try using these time periods for more easily accomplishing important tasks: purchases, repairs, client appointments, sales calls, important phone calls, finishing goals, starting new projects, tying up loose ends, starting new relationships (except when Venus is Retrograde), job hunting, doctor visits, family meetings, etc.
