FULL MOON IN ARIES, September 26, 2007, 12:46 pm PDT (4 degrees)

This is the Harvest Moon where it appears at its most luminous and beautiful. This is the Full Moon closest to the fall equinox. Two weeks ago, there was an especially powerful New Moon and solar eclipse. This Full Moon helps us see what has changed since then and what we need to focus on now.

The Sun now in Libra pushes us to balance any inequalities in our relationships and imbalances in our lives. Are we being too selfish? How much time and space do we allow for beauty, companionship, and culture? Is our life all work and no play? Too much Libra, too much concern with what others think or what shows a need for more Aries, more assertiveness and independence. Similarly, too much Aries aggressiveness calls for some Libran tact and teamwork. Where the Sun at 4° Libra falls in your natal chart is where you can achieve more through discussion and interaction with others: where the Moon at 4° Aries sits in your birth chart is where you are ready to take the initiative and try something new.

Venus, the ruling planet of Libra, is at 22° Leo. The Goddess of Love and Beauty stands for personal love and has had extended aspects to Neptune which symbolizes unconditional love. This extended alignment has encouraged everyone to come out of the spiritual closet, especially those with natal placements between 17° and 25° of fixed signs. This has also kept energy turned up on remembering who we really are and what we came to do.

Mars, the ruling planet of Aries, is at 29° Gemini. Mars stands for our personal will and with it's current aspect to Pluto, the higher expression of Mars, it is a time to focus on divine intention or "Thy will be done." This Full Moon reminds us that we are never alone. We are not separate. We are always in relationship - to our Selves, to each other, and to the Universe. Neptune's aspects to the Sun and Moon further dissolves our limited views and facilitates connection with our spiritual origins and our destiny.

This is a time for us to focus on relationships at all levels - to integrate ourselves more deeply with our inner masculine and feminine, to commune with our loved ones and with like-minded souls. Visualize what you want for yourself and the world - if possible, around the peak of this Full Moon (12:46 p.m. PDT). Connect and collaborate with those who share your ideals. Follow your bliss, and remember: No man is an Island. We gain strength from one another through our individual growth and unique struggles. Seek out those souls you can trust to respect your ideal and share your gifts and insight.

If you have a copy of your Natal chart, check which house 4 degrees Aries and Libra falls in your chart. For you, this is where the greatest personal impact will be during this Full Moon period.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fulfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fulfillment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controlling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or fertile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealousy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.

Opportunity Periods are a wonderful tool to maximize our efforts. Opportunity Periods reflect favorable aspects of the Moon. The energies of the Moon impact us in a very direct way.
