FULL MOON IN TAURUS, October 25, 2007, 09:53 pm PDT (3 degrees)

Once a month, the Moon is at the point in its orbit where it is closest to the Earth. About five times a year, this coincides with a New or Full Moon, creating more extreme weather activity. This Full Moon and the Full Moon of November 24 are examples of what is called a "SuperMoon" - a term coined by astrologer Richard Nolle for when the Moon is at or within 90% of its closest approach to the Earth during a New or Full Moon. This SuperMoon factor, combined with other influences, offers especially strong winds for change.

Full Moons bring light to the dark, and most associated with the dark is the sign of Scorpio - that which is taboo, the hidden, the unknown. The evolutionary intent of Scorpio is the process of transmuting one's own "darkness." Notice where 2°23' Taurus-Scorpio falls in your natal chart; those houses (and any planets closely aspected) are ripe for a major revelation and reorientation. Full Moons intensify the shadow side of each sign. The Bull falls into the trap of complacency and materialism; the Scorpion loses its way in the temptations of power and passion. What do you really want? What do you really need? What is holding you back?

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, makes a third and final exact alignment with the Galactic Center on October 28. (The first was on December 28, 2006; the second, on July 17, 2007.) At the heart of our Milky Way Galaxy lies a super-massive Black Hole, four million times larger than our Sun, which not only absorbs but also transmits enormous amounts of electromagnetic energy. Pluto aligning with the GC provides tremendous energetic support for releasing old patterns and beliefs and coincides with an even greater evolutionary change that has been identified by many different sources as the Mayan End Times, the Hopi Fifth World, the Turning of the Ages, Timewave Zero, the Ascension, and the Great Awakening, among others. These prophecies are a sign that humanity is in the process of making a dimensional shift from the limited perception of duality to a greater awareness of our inherent divinity and interconnectedness. As in Plato's allegory of the cave, we have mistaken the shadows cast on the wall for reality, and we are now turning toward the light.

Venus-in-Virgo's close opposition to Uranus and its square to Jupiter open our eyes and hearts, making it easier for us to see the big picture. This mutable t-square, along with Pluto's conjunction with the GC and Saturn's conjunction with the South Node in Virgo, pushes us to deeply question our assumptions about ourselves and the world.

A Full Moon symbolizes the fulfillment of the seeds planted at a previous New Moon or some earlier cycle. Each Full Moon reminds us of the seeds that may be coming to maturity, to their fullness, to fruition, to the place where the fruits or gifts are received. It may seem that fulfillment of our goals takes a long time. Some intentions may manifest within the two week phase prior to the next New or Full Moon. Some however, depending on their complexity, may take a much longer time. Just remember that our thoughts and emotions set Universal Action in motion and much work takes place behind the scenes as everything is orchestrated for fulfillment. Keep visualizing your goals as though you have already attained them and they will eventually manifest. Do not concern yourself with current conditions or worry about controlling it. The universe takes care of those details. Just keep seeing what you want and give no energy to what you don't want. Patience is required.

PERSONAL MOON CEREMONY Find the time to have your own private Moon Ceremony. You have a three day window of energy in which to manifest your intentions. The day before, the day of, and the day after.

For the Full Moon, jot down two or three areas of your life you want to clean up. The Full Moon is the time to release or get rid of the things that no longer serve you, so by the next New Moon your slate is clean for new beginnings, or fertile for the planting of new seeds.

Possible phrasing: I now release______ from my life. I now release my destructive ________ patterns. I now let go of fear, jealousy, anger, envy, negative thinking, etc... Remember, think and envision as though you have already let go of what you have released. See yourself free and living your dreams. Thoughts are things and the brain manifests exactly what you show it in the form of thoughts and visuals about yourself. The Buddha said, and I am paraphrasing, "We are the sum total of our thoughts up to today. " If we want to be different then we must change our thoughts. What you think about grows!! "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got." CONSCIOUS CHANGE is the key.
