Saturn in Libra
Wherever Saturn is, it isn't a fun ride for those in its path. Saturn is all about doing the necessary work to obtain the desired reward. Saturn does not deny your desires, but the energies will delay the outcome until all the necessary work is completed.
Libra's are feeling the squeeze from Saturn until early October 2012 when Saturn moves into the sign of Scorpio. When Saturn comes into conjunction with a Libra Sun, Moon or ascendant, very significant personal changes are likely to take place. I have found with my many clients and having gone through Saturn conjunct the Sun personally, I can safely say that it feels like you are loosing your mind. It feels as though there is a black cloud hanging over the head and there is no escape. One often feels low vitality as though there is something seriously wrong. It is helpful to remember that these are energies coming into you not from you. And usually, there is nothing actually wrong with you other than your thinking. From my experience, I believe this to be the most difficult of all aspects.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel however, and having a healthy project to help occupy the mind helps tremendously. Because Saturn is all about work, the energies will support Herculean achievement.
With Saturn conjunct the Moon, the inner self, one can be overly self critical and come out of the aspect feeling negative and inadequate. If it is recognized that self appraisal is a good thing while self denagration is unproductive, one can see what personal patterns need to change and stay as positive as possible while eliminating those things that no longer serve and replacing them with more productive ways of being.
Saturn can also engender fear of failure and fear in general. Saturn is about structure in life and what needs to be done to develop new and meaningful structure. As a result, old structures fall away and this change can initially be painful. But soon the good of the change will shine through.
Saturn conjunct the ascendant can be difficult as it usually includes a change in associations, friendships and relationships. If the relationships are solid they will endure. If they are weak, they will usually end. This is helpful as it promotes movement in a better direction and stops the wasting of time and energy on relationships that aren't productive.
All of these symptoms apply to any sign when Saturn transits through that sign. These aspects will usually last for a period or one and a half to two years.
